The Museum Blogs directory reached a new milestone today there are now 5,000 “re-posts” on the site. 86 blogs are in the directory and they are being adding at a rate of just under 10 a month (100 by 2007?). The Future of Science

Next week, I’ll be attending the Future of Science Conference in Venice, Italy (September 20-23). The conference theme is Evolution and we’ll be covering the Evolution of Life: Darwinism in the light of modern genetics session. The plan is to interview some of the speakers and panel participants. Radical Trust

On the Assembly blog, Catherine Styles posted a paper she presented at the Austrailan Historical Association conference, How Web 2.0 will change history. ExhibitFiles: Development Blog

For the last six months we’ve been working on an NSF-sponsored project called ExhibitFiles. It’s a three-year project and our mission is to “create the infrastructure for an active online community of informal science exhibit practitioners, including shared records of exhibition descriptions as a core feature.” Wendy Pollock from Association of Science-Technology Centers is the principal investigator and Kathy McLean from Independent Exhibitions is a co-PI.
