GE’s new Middle East Aviation Technology Center opened in November 2015 in the Dubai Airport Free Zone area. There are ten Ideum Drafting Table 46s and one 100 inch Pano table featured in the high-tech facility that shows off GE’s big data platform, Predix. The center provides a collaborative environment for GE engineers and customers to explore the aviation ecosystem. Our unique multitouch tables support the collaborative direction of the center which also serves as a regional location for customer and product support.
We worked closely with 2.0 Concepts , our Middle East and UK partner, to coordinate the placement of our hardware at this state-of-the-art site.
