Jim Spadaccini was happy to be one of the influential tech community members interviewed by TechCrunch in their new article about the future of the human interface.

Ideum founder and Creative Director, Jim Spadaccini, was interviewed in the online technology blog Tech Crunch for Alex Williams’ article “5 Perspectives on the Future of the Human Interface.” Four additional influential technologists and researchers in the field of interactive computing contributed their thoughts to the article, including: Microsoft General Manager Jeff Han, Cyborg Anthropologist Andrew Warner, co-founder of Geoloqi Amber Case, and Matt May of Adobe – self proclaimed accessibility evangelist.

All interviewees were asked to comment on considerations in developing touch and interactive hardware and software. Answers across the board focused on how human elements should direct product development – that creators of interactive technologies need to consider collaboration, accessibility, and the basic sensory functions of human interactivity to produce successful and meaningful products.

Look for Jim at this year’s Blur conference held in Denver, CO, November 15-16, where he will be elaborating on the topic of human computer interfaces in his keynote address, “Touch in Transition.”
