The exhibit provides a comprehensive view of fuel cells and their potential to transform California's future. Ideum worked closely with California Science Center and Redmond-Jones & Associates, to develop the content, the graphic look, and interface for the exhibit.

A 3D model of a Toyota Prius along with the important components of the vehicle system were developed and animated.

3D animation describes in detail how fuel cells work. The animation was split into a number of steps to allow the visitor to better understand the process, and to learn their own speed.

This 3D animation shows several steps in the process. The descriptions for each step are not show here.

The Hydrogen Fuel (Combustible de geno) section in Spanish language. This section explores the fueling of vehicles, storage, and distribution of hydrogen. Spanish language voice-overs and captions are included for all video content.

The Problem of Smog section connects to "near real-time" maps of ground-level ozone in the Los Angeles Basin. A key explains what the colors mean and a video explains how smog is formed.

Points of View contains video clips with scientists, automotive engineers, an environmentalist, and a policy maker. Running captions provide a text transcript of the interview clips.

"In the News" contains embedded Internet-based news articles. A secure Web-based administration area allows California Science Center staff to update news stories.

"What Do You Think?" allows museum visitors to share their opinions about fuel cell vehicles. This custom polling software was developed with PHP. Questions and answers can be modified by California Science Center staff through a secure Web-based administrative interface.
