All of Ideum's 55", 65", and 100" multitouch tables and touch walls are now available with 4x the resolution of standard HD.

This is big, really big! All of our 55″, 65″, and 100″ multitouch tables and touch walls are now available with 4x the resolution of standard HD. Our new 4K Ultra HD touch tables and walls have 3840 x 2160 Ultra HD resolution, as opposed to the standard HD resolution of 1920 x 1080.  For multitouch interaction at an arms length from the screen, this vastly improved resolution is a game changer.

We’ve updated our Platform 55Pro 55, Pro Lab, and Platform 55 & 65 drafting multitouch tables. Our Presenter touch walls both in 55 and 65 formats have also been updated to include the option of 4K UHD displays. We’ve even redesigned the massive Pano 100″ multitouch table, which now boasts dual 4K displays, providing an 8K (7540 x 2160) resolution! While UHD TVs might lack 4K content, computer-based interactive applications just need to be authored to take advantage for this new resolution.  (We are still offering our standard HD models as we know that many of you have HD resolution content that you want to present.) We have been asked about providing improved resolution for our products for some time now and, until recently, it was prohibitively expensive. However, now that 4K screens have become more established, we can offer a 4K UHD option for a few thousand dollars more than our standard HD models. Please contact us directly at sales (at) ideum.com or call our sales line at 505-792-1110 for pricing. Check out coverage of our 4K UHD models in Gizmag.
